Anatolian Wisdom: On the tracks of Symbols and Archaeology

By applying a different historical mindset to esoteric knowledge – expressed by various symbols on the land we live on - can we create a change in our awareness?

Part 1:
Has it started 12000 years ago?

What are symbols, and what is the function of such throughout the passage of time? What do these oldest symbols in existence, dating back 12000 years, found at Urfa – Gobeklitepe, really mean? What do numbers such as 3,4,7, and 12 – which we come across in all Anatolian historical spiritual teachings – symbolize? What does the Shamanic credo, which moved from Central Asia to Anatolia, have in common with the Alevi-Bektashi culture?

Part 2:
Mother Goddess Cult

How did the Mother Goddess Cult, thought to have originated at Çatalhoyuk in Anatolia, spread; and how long did it last? What are the archetypes in the Sumerian genesis, and how was the mother goddess İnnana portrayed? Is there a connection between mother goddess Kubaba, Kybele and Cybele, all of which have been portrayed in Anatolia at different periods and cultures? What are the goddess belief characteristics of what is known as the Artemis of Ephesus. What is the connection between the Vatican approved Mother Mary church at Şirince, and Ephesus?

Part 3:
Sacred Signs and Gods – “Egypt and the Sumerians”

What made those, who developed hyerogliphs some 5000 years ago, choose which symbols, and for what reason? Hermetic Teaching: How did it begin? How did it branch out? What does Ptah – merely considered a local deity, not getting even get the slightest mention in the Egyptian Pantheon of Gods according to current historical set up – really symbolize? What are the archetypal characteristics of the Sumerian Legend of Creation? How was Mother God Inanna depicted?

Part 4:
Human Evolution and Symbols of the Evolution – “India”

What was the connection between the Harappa Civilization - which forged the roots of all tradition in India – and Anatolia? How is the Brahma,Vishnu, Shiva trilogy put across in the Veda’s – and what does it symbolize? What importance carries the Evolution of Consciousness in the Evolution of Man? And how has this been related in the most ancient manuscripts? What does Anatolian Mystic Wisdom have in common with East Indian Mysticism?

Part 5:
The Mystery of the 13th Century – “Anatolian Enlightenment”

A triangle in the heart of Anatolia. At one corner Hace Bektash Veli, at one Mevlana Jelaleddin Rumi and at the third one Yunus Emre Piri. Squeezed between the turbulent politics of the Seljuks and the oppression of the Mongols from the east, we find this garden of roses and nightingales. What is the mystery and debth behind the symbolic expression of this 13th century era I call Anatolian Enlightenment. An era that melted into a Noah’s Pudding by combining all worthy Sufi and Alevi-Bektashi traditions with eastern teaching and religions?
