About him
Born (15.12.1970) and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. A true believer of the flow of existence and the free spirit, with a strong practice in Sufism, Meditation and Music.He studied art at the Mimar Sinan University Faculty of Film and Television, as a graduate in Screenplay and Directing, which he enhanced with a master in Art History and Museum Science at the Yildiz Technical University in Istanbul. He then honed his skills as an assistant director for feature films, and a TV art program producer and director. Upon graduation he became the assistant director of a large film production company, till he formed his own company Gate Production in 1998, specializing in TV commercials. Since September 2005 he is out of the commercial sector and works only in his own projects. In 2007 he directed a TV show of 13 episodes - with Metin Bobaroğlu - about Anatolian mythology, religions and esoteric beliefs.
Göbeklitepe
He produced and directed his film “Gobeklitepe - The First Temple Of The World” in 2010 which has been picked up by a number of film festivals around the world including; Cinema Verite (Iran), GZDocs (China), Sitges (Spain), Golden Orange (Turkey), Istanbul (Turkey) and awarded as “Best Educational Documentary” in TAC Festival (USA).
Reiki, Yoga, Meditation
Besides Reiki, Yoga and traditional meditation trainings, in 2005, he started training on active meditation in Osho Multiversity in Pune, India. He has deepened his work under the guidance of teachers like Svarup, Premartha, Svagito and Kaifi. Besides active meditation work he attended teachings on indigenous traditions and culture.
Along the way, together with his partners, he founded a retreat on the Ida Mountain (Kazdağları - Northwest coast of Turkey) specializing in Yoga and Meditation (http://www.hizirkamp.com/english.html); established his company “Sarikiz Limited”, heavily involved in ecological tourism and became a co-founder of BiR (https://www.bir.one/) which is an on demand video based web site for deepening the personal work on mind, body and soul.
As a result of his extensive research and findings on symbolic, archaeological historical facts, he gives seminars and webinars about the wisdom of 12000 years history of Anatolia and he organizes workshops and retreats on raising awareness.
